SRT Upload is coming soon to LipDub!


Inside an EasyDub Project you now have the ability to upload your SRT file of your target language making it easier than ever to ensure the timing of the new language or audio directly in the platform.

What is an SRT? - It is a file format commonly used for captioning.

It's like a script for the subtitles: Just like a movie script tells actors what to say, an SRT file tells the video player what text to show and when. It's all about timing: The SRT file uses timestamps to make sure the subtitles appear at the right moment, matching the dialogue or action in the video.

A few things to note:

SRT should be of the target language or new audio. For example if I have a 1min video in Spanish originally, but I want to translate to English. Then I would need to put the Spanish original script into this SRT text file format and then translate each sentence to English. and then upload the English SRT file to LipDub. SRT should be in standard formatting (see below for example) Languages: 29 languages

But how do I create an SRT file?


There are editing software that automatically transcribe your video for you and then you can export them as SRT files by following the guides below:
